vApp VM - Get vApp owner within a VM using VMToolsd or similar?

Hi Guys,

Is there a simple way to read out the owner of a vApp from a guest VM as displayed in the vCD WebGUI so I can use this information to display it on a BGInfo page?

So far I only found that I could set Custom Properties through the OVF Environment which would be an option but it would be much simpler to read out exisiting information.
