After spending several hours searching for a solution online, plus about two hours today on the phone with a Microsoft technician trying to make this work, I have given up. I know I could buy a Windows 8 disk box and try that, but I'm taking the easy way out and getting a full version of Windows 7 Home Premium instead. That way I know I will have a straightforward install with no problems. For my minimal needs I am sure Windows 7 will be fine and maybe I will upgrade to 8 sometime later.
