I am wondering if anyone has taken the vSphere Design Workshop and can comment on the section that is target on capacity planning and performance monitoring. VMware performance documentation refers to the concept of having a capacity and performance management "methodology". I'm wondering what it looks like to indoctrinate such a methodology in your design plan. Does the design workshop define that? Does anyone have an example of what a "performance managment methodolody" or a "capacity planning methodolody" looks like when you place it in an official document and provide it to a customer to implement?
