Connect a USB stick into server and read it from CentOS Vhost

I would like to use a usb stick to make some backups and I'm wondering if it is possible and HOW (I've googled it but didn't find any answer)

I have a Dell T320 - ESXI 5.5.0 hypervisor

vhost is a CentOS 6.4 x64
