I figured out another way. Those values were already part of my attributes for the workflow and the action was used to populate a drop down so I just used those attributes as variables to my action and that worked out just fine

.vmem files thrashing my HDD?
I talked about this in a previous thread, but never really got into it. When I'm running a VM, my disk activity skyrockets to over 100%, and my PC freezes from a period of 1-15 Minutes. I looked into the Resource Monitor of my host, and it turns out that the .vmem file of the VM that I'm running (C:\Users\Bill\Documents and Settings\Virtual Machines\*Name of VM that I'm currently running*\XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.vmem) is doing something that makes my Disk Activity skyrocket and eventually thrash. But the REAL question is WHAT? WHAT is it doing to make my disk thrash? WHY is it doing that? WHAT can I do about it?

Right click on the Vm.
select edit setting
select the hard disk
increase the size to desired amount
reboot the vm
log in with admin rights
administrative tools
open computer management
open disk management
right click c drive
select extend volume
select next, next, next.
then enjoy!

When do action runs that populate input fields?
I have an input field that's a string but is displayed as predefined answers which is dynamically populated using an action.
My question is when do these actions run?
What i'm trying to do is create a multi step workflow where the choices in the first step determine the drop down values in the second step.
As of right now, there's a default value in step 1 that's populated and when i change that to another value, the input in step 2 remains the same.
Is there a way to do this?

I think the gallery is working fine. My problem is that I was using a PS 5 client to download the modules that I was trying to deploy to PS 4 machines. PS 4 does not support the use of different versions of a modules...and the PS 5 version PowerCLI modules included a version sub-folder level in the directory structure that PS 4 machines were choking on.

RDSH Application Shadowing
Has anyone been able to configure or know a way of shadowing published application sessions with Horizon. RDS session shadowing is supported by Microsoft but I believe you need to use the Server 2012 R2 RDS Connection Server component in order to have the user sessions listed in server manager. Since this is a horizon deployment using view connection servers that is not possible.

Get list of plugins and versions installed from vCenter?
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to use PowerCLI to get a list of plugins installed in vCenter, their versions and any other information associated with those plugins? I found Get-vCenterPlugin, per http://www.jonathanmedd.net/2012/02/managing-vcenter-plugins-with-powercli.html, but that doesn't seem to work for me in PowerCLI 6.0 Release 1. Anybody know what I can use instead? Or am I missing something with Get-vCenterPlugin?

J'ai le même soucis, alors que la VM tourne très bien avec un autre pc sous win7 et wmplayer12...
Je suis sous win10fam - hyper-v est bien désactivé, AMD-V est bien activé dans le bios...
J'ai lu sur un forum us : Just solved the issue myself by changing the hardware version of the vm (by default was on version5), set it to version 12 and it now worked.
Le problème est que je n'arrive pas a trouver où changer la version hardware...

The checkbox doesn't actually enable, or disable a vmnic,. It simply assigns it to the vSwitch with the Management Port group on it.
You can assign/unassign vmnics in the GUI too, but you need to be careful, i.e. always ensure that at least one vmnic is connected to the vSwitch, otherwise you'll cut the tree branch you're sitting on, and need to assign a vmnic on the DCUI again.

Hate to reply to my own post, but an update:
I reinstalled the Platform.
I found the CLI username (cliuser/ark1nc0ns0l3)
Worked through validating the network configuration.
ran a show-service-status command:
Made sure DNS entries were available.
Went to https://dns-name-of-platform.
Same result as below.
Does anyone have any Insight into Network Insight? ;-)
