Any idea?

Out of Memory when I am using Windows 10 version 1703 virtual machine
I use the VMware for a long time. I malloc the memory as 3G (8G in total) to Windows 10. I never recevie any warning before I use Windows 10 in Vritual Machine. Therefore, I reuse the amount the mallocation into 2G, and I opened Task manager to monitor the usage of memory. However, I found that I still have 2G left when the warning dialog was prompted. I think it was aweful when I found this error. I don't think I have the problem in memory when I receviced the warning. Please check this problem.
Re: horizon view win7 desktop vm console black screen
The agent is probably in a non-optimal state. Rebooting the VM or restarting the View Agent usually fixes this issue.

Re: LSI SAS 9207-8i and vSAN 6.5 ?
Now running vSAN 6.6 with no issues. Still have all the warnings.
Re: How to Increase C drive space in windows Server 2008
In order to increate the C: partition in your Windows server VM, you need adjacent free disk space.
In case there'the virtual disk only contains the C: parition, the follow the steps provided by jsider. Note that a VM reboot may not even be required, if a rescan within the guest's Disk Management detects the increased virtual disk.
If there's anther partition on that virtual disk, you'll have to move that partition to get the required adjacent free disk space for increasing the C: partition. This can either be done using a 3rd party product like gParted, or you can use VMware's Converter which allows you to clone the current VM, and do the resizing in a single step (Volume based V2V conversion). Using the Converter has the advantage that the original VM remains untouched, i.e. you can always revert to the original VM in case something doesn't work as expected.

Re: VMware tools not downloading
You need to provide more information for others to help you. For example, the specs of the host, the version of VMware and logs of the guest.
Re: ESXi 6.0.0, 5050593
Some questions:
- Are you using the DELL OEM image, or the VMware image?
- Is the FC adapter detected/shown in "Storage Adapters"?
- Has the zoning been configured on the FC switch(es), and has the zone been enabled?
- Have the LUNs on the storage system been presented to the ESXi host?

Re: Problems vSAN after upgrade 6.0 (U3) to 6.5 (latest version)
Going from 6.0 U3 to 6.5d (6.6) is not a supported path.

Welcome to the Community,
Don't worry, vCenter Converter is a free tool.

Re: Out of Memory when I am using Windows 10 version 1703 virtual machine
There are many who reported "Out of Memory" with Windows 10 1703.
Some have resolved this problem by disabling/turning off "virtual printing" or "thin printing".
Go to "Edit" - "Preferences" - "Devices" and uncheck "Enable virtual printers".
EDIT: duxingzhe103, in case your menu is in Chinese and the instructions I provided doesn't translate well, this is the screenshot of the setting. Note this is temporary and simply a workaround while we wait for an official solution.
Re: VMware tools not downloading
Is it VMware Workstation v6.0.7 or another VMware product? If it's not Workstation, you may want to move/post your question in the correct community for the respective product.
Regardless, are you saying that your host has <2GB memory? If yes, I don't know how/if your Windows 10 guest would work with your host, as I don't think even 2GB memory total on a host can support the host itself plus any VM.
Updating guest OS
I'm running Windows XP as guest OS. I see that MIcrosoft has issued an emergency, post-support period, update:
WannaCrypt ransomware: Microsoft issues emergency patch for Windows XP | ZDNet
Can I just do the standard procedure of running Windows Update on the guest OS, or is that not possible, or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks for help/advice. :-)
Re: VMware tools not downloading
I don't know what is workstation. At top at software it's showing VMware player And I am installing Windows 98 not Windows 10.
Re: VMware 12.5.5.17738 was crashed
I wondered if anyone at VMWare is looking into this? Or is this version of Windows not supported now?
I did file an official support request (17444963604) but just got back "couldn't reproduce this" and only a few users are reporting this. Absolutely no help at all.
I'm getting crashes virtually every day and sometimes 2 or 3 times in one day. It's getting a real pain now as it isn't always convenient to keep rebooting my system.
Thanks
Independent Persistent Mode Option without VC service
Hi All,
How to Independent Persistent Mode option for VM without Virtual center service.
I have single ESXi Box and VM to be enabled with Independent Persistent Mode option.
Is it possible to enable without Vcenter.
Re: VMware 12.5.5.17738 was crashed
Ok I've done a bit more playing around with the virtual machines and it turns out that when you create a new virtual machine and try to replicate the problem of restarting 3-4 times, the machines don't crash?
It could be that the older machines that are not converted using the new hdd format experience this bug of crashing on about 3-4 attempts of restarts?
not sure at this stage if this is fixed but this is what I've come across so far and haven't had any crashes since

Re: Updating guest OS
The Microsoft blog mentioned in the ZDNet article
https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/msrc/2017/05/12/customer-guidance-for-wannacrypt-attacks/
provides a link to download for specific OS versions.
http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4012598
It took a while for that link to open up and failed to open for a few tries. Could be very busy.
It is probably best to download from that link (EDIT: using a machine/VM that has the MS17-010, March 2017 patches) and then copy over to the guest VM to install rather than risk going online and getting hit.
