Resize Virtual Machine to Fit does not work in a Windows Server 2016 guest. It works fine in other guests.

Yes, this will entitle the users but will it fix the issue of having to make a separate blueprint for each reservation?
What I'd like to do is:
- User who is a member of the AD group "POC1 Users" gets entitled to use the W2K12 blueprint which gets provisioned on the "POC1 Reservation"
- User who is a member of the AD group "POC2 Users" gets entitled to use the same W2K12 blueprint which gets provisioned on the "POC2 Reservation"
- do the above without having a drop down to choose the reservation at request time
Another option is to build new. I went with this route when I went from 4.1 to 5.5.
We built new new vSphere host at 5.5 using an extra host we pulled out of the cluster. We then deployed a new vCenter server. We then removed another host, rebuilt it using the 5.5 ISO and joined it to the new vCenter in the cluster with the 1st host. We then removed 1 host at a time from the 4.1 vCenter and joined them (live) into the 5.5 vCenter, in the same cluster as the 1st 2 (making sure to have DRS & HA off). We were then able to migrate the VMs to the 5.5 hosts with 0 downtime. As we moved VMs, we rebuilt the 4.1 hosts using 5.5, until all hosts were at 5.5.
I usually prefer this method as you're getting a clean install each time.
However, like TheBobkin said, you'd need to go to 5.x first before going to 6.5.

I hear you, it's not always easy to move over to the next version, especially not once the machine is fully configured and working well.
The problem with Vista however is that it went out of support last month, so holding on to it now is not making much sense unless you really must keep it running.
Putting it in a VM might be a good workaround, but I would suggest to not connect it to the internet anymore.

It was a VLAN issue. Changed VLAN from 1 to 0 and now it works
When vMotion failed for us with Error 195887105 it was because somehow one of the Hosts had more than one VMkernel adapter configured with vMotion. Once the vMotion was removed from the wrong VMkernel adapter it worked again.

It sounds like you are using the Thick Client to connect directly to a Host? This is not supported in 6.5 as that client has been discontinued. We're aware the 6.0 version currently connects to 6.5 Hosts, but it's not been tested.
You mentioned a couple additional features/attributes you'd like to see in the Host Client view:
Is there anything else? Also a little more detail as to what you're trying to accomplish would be helpful (troubleshooting something, Flash bios, etc).
I'm running VMware Workstation 12.5.5 Pro on a Windows 10 1607 host. I ran the installer with Administrator permissions. No matter whether I start VMware Workstation Pro with Administrator permissions or not I cannot get the "Bridged (Automatic)" or "VMNet0" working. I've tried reinstalling, checking that "VMware Bridge Protocol" is enabled on the adapters, & using the "Restore defaults" function in the Virtual Network Editor but can not get "VMware Network Adapter 0" to show up in my "Network Connections" even though I see "VMware Network Adapter 1" & "VMware Network Adapter 8".
How do I get Bridged mode working?
You can double check this by checking if the disk is still linked to the VM which it should be a part off. If it isn't you can delete it from the datastore via the datastore browser. I would suggest moving it first before you delete is, just in case.
How how do you do this?

I need to enable SSH connectivity to our vCenter Server (not appliance), but am not able too. I try the following that results in grayed out "Edit Seeings", and "Reboot", and "Edit Settings" is where I need to enable that functionality from what I have read.
Administration -> System Configuration -> nodes -> then either in the "Actions" drop down, or right clicking the VC node in the left pane results in the grayed out options.
Why is this? Is it possible to enable SSH connectivity to our VC?
